Emili Sapena Masip
Let me please introduce myself, I am a
26 yeared-old telecommunications engineer from 
Catalonia. And actually, the pictures
that you are seeing are the best I could obtain.
Studies
Graduated in 2004 in 
Escola Tecnica Superior de Telecomunicacions de
Barcelona, part of
Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. My final thesis was about an ant algorithm to find partitions in graphs.
Currently, I am a Ph.D. student in the Natural Language Processing Group at LSI.
Jobs
I was working for two years in ComData, a software company, as a junior
programmer developing some parts of software for a bank
entities. After that, I was working one year and four months in 
Hewlett Packard
for a part time job as a student in practice in the Mobile
Solutions departmet. My last job before starting my Ph.D. was
as an engineer in the R&D
department of 
JR Security Systems.
Projects
As a freelance webmaster I have been doing my own projects since 1996. The most part of my websites in the past are not online anymore but I could recover some articles and references like this one which is a copy of two articles published in CyAnTEC, one of my projects in the past. Currently, I have some new projects online and hundreds of ideas that I might develop some day.
Molt Heavy
The main project for these last three years is 
Molt Heavy. This site was installed
and configured at all by myself, using Linux,
Apache,
PHP,
MySQL,
Perl and
some more open source projects. I
administrate the server and make my own websites and projects about
Internet here. It is like my online lab. The most
important section inside is
Todo Moviles
wich is a website about cell phones with some articles about how to
unlock cell phones or how to send free sms. One of the most important
aspects of this project is the work that I've done in Search
Engine Optimitzation (SEO), especially with the 
Liberar Moviles and 
Mensajes a moviles sections.
101 Restaurantes
Another project, wich is not finished yet, is 101
Restaurantes. There, with another friend, we want to develop
a kind of paid restaurant directory with information about restaurants
in Catalonia. Of course the SEO work here will be quite hard if we want
to be in the first places in the serps for searches like restaurantes barcelona. However, this
project has another aspect to consider: we need to negotiate and sell
some adverstiments to the restaurants if we pretend to make money with
it some day!
iConsulting
With iConsulting I try
to offer myself as an Internet
Consultant. Lots of people use to ask to me how to be first
in SERPs or how to earn money with a website. Via iConsulting I help
some companies or particulars to improve their presence in Internet.
